Other than their promise to re-legalise hunting with packs of hounds, I can't think of any. We've heard lots of talk about "hugging a hoodie" and David Cameron flying around the world to highlight global warming, but do they yet stand for anything?

Trouble is whenever the Tories propose a policy, TB jumps in and steals it claiming he thought of it first.

All governments will propose all manner of rosy inducements in order to get elected, however not all governments go to war on false and fabricated intelligence, not all governments are mendacious, not all governments will lie and cheat to hang on to power.

The Tories have a wonderful opportunity to redress all the harm that has been heaped upon the UK in the past ten years; whether they take the opportunity and gain power is another question.

What the Tories need to do at every opportunity is to show they are really a forceful, determined opposition because the government is so vulnerable right now that an early election may result and we can then see what the Tories have to offer.

Of course they do. Ask Haggie Thatcher. The overriding policy of conservatives is and always will be The rich get richer.
Forget all about that crap that wealth filters down. As a nation we have been waiting to experience this filtering down since the Industrial Revolution. What the Tories didn't say was that the process takes several thousand years.

What so that Labour can recycle them ? It's about the only green thing this government can manage - pity they can't even implement a good idea properly.

Wont know unless you try them will you? When a government is in waiting they can and will solve every problem under the sun. When they get in it is another matter, when they face reality. Then then keep asking for more time to keep their promises, or they ignore them altogether. It's a mess.
