she should take prenatal vitamins. If she hasn't gone to see an OB/GYN yet you can get over the counter prenatal at walmart or anywhere that sells over the counter medications.

Eat right! Get plenty of rest! Drink lots of fluids, such as orange juice, and water. Make sure you have regular prenatal check ups. Get on prenatal vitamins as soon as possible! They have folic acid and other nutritional supplements added to them that are essential for your developing fetus. Also stay away from tobacco, drugs, and caffeine.

Drink orange juice cuz it has folic acid & take prenatal pills i couldn't take prenatal pills so the dr gave me flintstones vitamins.

you may take folic acid about 5 mg a day it will help you. but beware use it after taking advice from doctor.

Milk was the most important thing for me.. because i knew it wld help my baby's bones.. so drink alot,, alot of milk. Carrots r also good. and healthy food u put in is better for your baby than if u put junk food in.

start with folic acid.its very important for the baby.and then you can get flinstone vits from your local drug store.ask your doc to recommend a good one for you.keep baby and you fit and safe.
