Here's some tips for a great ANTI-Valentines's Day:

1. remember that it's not about love but about selling cards, flowers and chocolates.
2. being single, celebrate! You know it's not terminal
3. flirt. an innocent flirtation can boost your ego...and may turn into a date (romance?), who knows...
4. celebrate all love: true friendship or the love you have for your family
PS: being single, think of all the cash you've saved on card and present(s): why don't you go shopping and treat yourself instead?

Have a good one ;)

Get some of your friends over to yours for a good night in with some wine and pizza or whatever you all like to eat, have a good old gossip about things and hopefully you will all feel better, when you meet the person who loves you for you then why not just have an impromptu Valentines day together, who needs Valentines day to show their love anyhow, you can do that everyday, good luck and hope your dreams come true soon.

You should find some other single friends or join a single club. Go out together in a group and enjoy yourself and 'toast' to celebrate the fun of being single. Enjoy single life as much as you can until it lasts!!!

That is what I used to do before I met my hubby. I'll be working in our bar, seeing all the couples drinking and looking cheesy at each other because it's Valentine's day!!

I have just separated from my hubby after 16 years, this will be my first valentines day alone - I will use the opportunity to get in touch with all my single friends that I should have written to but never made the time for

Hi

So sorry that you are alone at such a time - no need crying over spilt milk. What I would advise you is on this special day try some voluntering - or visit the needy in a hospital.

Be courageous.

sorry you've broken up with your boyfriend, but perhaps you just weren't meant to be together? i don't know, just my opinion. as for me on valentine's day, i'm going to be at work during the day and then i'll probably just have a normal wednesday night of watching ugly betty on the telly!
my friend has a second date with this guy though, so i might sneakily ring her during the evening to find out how it's going! hee hee hee!
