Nobody who is 900 years old can speak English properly. How many people from the 12th Century can speak modern English? None, I bet!

The fact that someone has been doing something for a long time doesn't mean that they get better at it... I have been trying to cook really decent curries for about 15 years but they still aren't as good as the curries made by some of my friends who have been cooking them for a shorter time...

Incidentally... Yoda is a massive egotist, even though he pretends not to be!

When you are 900 years old, you don't bother to learn the "right" way of speaking a language. The little dude has more urgent matters to take care of.
