I´m due in June and decided that I´m getting an epidural. I watched a video about it and one of natural birth and made up my mind very quickly. The hospital here also gave me a lot of info about it... I want to enjoy giving birth !!!

I had my first at a birthing center without any pain medication...Had my second at a hospital and ended up getting an epidural but it was not placed right and did not work at all !!! So I`ve had two without anything...I`m 15 weeks pregnant with #3 and that is something I`ve already thought about...Do I get one or not?? I think I will have to wait and decide when that moment comes and make a decision then...

This will be my first baby, and although I'm not due until September, I'm already terrified of labour. But I know they'll be no stopping it, I've decided that when it happens I'm going to try and stick it out for as long as I can with gas and air, but if it gets too much I'll be going for the epidural.

I have three kids and never had an epidural, I gave birth without any pain relief on my third, because I was so far on by the time I got there, it was too late, talk about pain.

this is my second baby, I managed with gas and air the first time but only because my labour was quite quick, if I could have had one I would.
Because I managed last time I am going to try and go without it this time, hopefully the labour will be even faster. If I really can't cope I will ask for one though.

yep def. if they let me. Ive had a caserean and natural and i had epidural on both. I found it so much easier having natural with the epidural as you can still move your legs and the pain eased completely.

I never had pain releif with my first two..and i don't intend on having it with the third....I like to do things as natural as possible..and if that means experiencing labour pains as your meant to...i say yay! thay are agonizing..but i felt much more in control knowing i wasn't pumped full of drugs.
Both my previous labours were over 8 hours...so a long time with no pain releif! apparenlty i was very polite aswell..the only woman in labour not to swear!
