no, but he is the cousin of Steve McFadden who plays Phil Mitchell in Eastenders. on screen brothers who are real life cousins !

Kemp is a very popular surname, it is mentioned in Ricky Jervais'Extra's, maybe someone got confused after Ross Kemp appeared in that!!
