I've known people to have both, but its rare. I would take a good conversation and personality over a pretty face anyday.

I would have to go with personality. People that look good sometimes think they are all that and try to get over, where as a person with a nice personality don't need all the looks because they are usually genuine and I like that much more than looks any day. =)

looks are somewhat important, but personality's the thing that wins you over. however, when we first meet someone, we do tend to give him/her the "once over", you know "check him/her out". i mean, don't you look at that person's physical attributes before you strike a conversation with him/her. i'm sure that all of us have a bit of shallowness in us, even if we claim that we don't.
