It was a sad day when both series finished but what are your comments about the work ex Buffy/Angel cast members have done since the show ended - Except for Bones (Angel) and Tru Calling (Faith) I can't think of any thing that memorable.

Allyson Hannigan is on "How I Met Your Mother." Although I think that show is moronic, I guess it's pretty popular. What I think is more amazing is how many actors that did bit parts on Buffy pop up on TV now. I was just watching NCIS and the bad guy in that episode looked sooooo familiar to me, but I couldn't place him. I finally figured out that he played the monk that tells Buffy about Dawn being the Key. Then, of course, there's Carmine Giovanazzo; a regular on CSI:NY. He has the distinction of being the first vampire victim ever on Buffy. He played the guy that Darla kills before the credits that then gets stuffed in the locker. The list goes on and on......

The series were awesome; the casting and acting were great.

Dushku and the great Sara Michelle seem h*llbent on getting typecast in horrorfests.

Allyson Hannigan had some fun little appearances in the American Pie films - seemedl ike that might take off. But, ouch ...

Boreanaz aside, the people whose careers are actually steady, I think, are those of Charisma Carpenter and Nicholas Brendon. They seem to have minor roles (they deserve more), but they're keeping in the limelight and in the paychecks with TV and TV movies.

Next year, James Marsters (underappreciated fellow he is, that limey ol' Spike) should be in a comedy/drama with Hilary Swank and Lisa Kudrow -- P.S., I Love You.

Good news? Anthony Head should be in an American film comedy this year - Sparkle, with Stockard Channing. (I don't know how large his role is, though).

Let's cheer 'em on, shall we?!

I love Spike/James Marsters on Smallville. I only started watching the show last year after I heard he was going to be in it. (Then I got hooked and had to go and by the DVDs for Seasons 1-3 that I hadn't seen).
I LOVED that Wesley/Alexis Denisof popped up a on How I met your Mother with Alyson Hannigan. I especially loved the episode where they were all in the cafe together when he was on a date with Robyn.
I had been excited to see Close to Home with Lindsay/Christian Kane but was very disappointed with the couple of scenes he got. In the last 6 eps to air in Australia he was in only 2 of them.
I cannot say how much I loved/love Tru Calling and how angry/crushed I was that it got cancelled - especially with the story so up in the air.

I love it when Amber Benson pops up in shows like 'Cold Case' and just recently saw her on 'Supernatural'.
