I lost the last one over a cheap, affordable, inexpensive, doable, carrible, getable and generally cheap gift. Took me a week to get that bouquet of silk roses completely out of my bum.
So at your own risk, you might get her fake flowers, a small box of chocolates, and ah! Yes, a nice card. Shirt stock will suffice.
Write upon it:
I love, I love I love YOU,
But I am skint, so this card
will have to do!

A day of not having to do chores works for me. Cook for me, clean up after the meal, dust, vacume, run me a hot bath...give me some lovin where you're dedicated to my pleasure only...A massage...Anything that makes ME feel pampered.

and FYI - The dollar store has a LOT of Valentine's day stuff, including cards for 50 cents. You could spend $10 and make a Valentine's day basket complete with chocolate, candy hearts, a stuffed animal and a card if you must give something material.

All excellent answers but you cant go far wrong with the tried and trusted flowers, chocs, nice card. Remember guys shop for it dont just head off to the local garage at the last minute the definately does not work. Good luck and enjoy

To be taken somewhere with a view and have a picnic. In the car though wrapped in warm fluffy blankets. Warm apricot brandy would be nice as well. What ever it is you do. It should be a physical experience with a memory and not just a flippin inanimate object.

A card and a packet of love heart sweets will do. And a kiss and a cuddle too of course.

Can you cook? Try baking heart shaped cookies. They're cheap and very romantic.

TELL ME YOU LOVE ME!
Aaarrgh! I don't wanna a floosie anonymous card, furry hearts, sick looking teddies with notes pinned on, a bunch of dying flowers, or a box of gut rotting chocs
I wanna know YOU LOVE ME so tell me.
Get down on your knees, hold my hands, TELL ME YOU LOVE ME, in so many ways- that I am SPECIAL
then kiss me & walk away leaving me wanting more...
of your tender, loving

WHY CAN'T MY MAN UNDERSTAND THAT?
