download dreamweaver 8 online, their is a hack code you can get into the registry and it becomes active for longer then 30 day trial.

It has split view code and design, design you just add layers, links, graphics.

It has alot of templets to start with and its really the best program out for beginers web designers as well as professionals.

Plus its free.

LOL SOMEONE SAID FRONT PAGE!!!! GOOD LUCK USING THAT CRAP!

Only use Dreamweaver when it's absolutely necessary...

Dreamweaver-made sites tend to make the code really messy and doesn't really guarantee same viewing accross all browsers...

HOW TO DESIGN it well ...

I would say, consider ensuring perhaps some of the following:

* Good usability - easy to navigate and consistency of 'design'.. I recommend using CSS to style your pages...

* Left-justified or Centre-justified navigation (I think Right-Justified is maybe different and funky if done well, but can cause problems in lower screen resolutions)

* MAKE SURE your pages 'fit' the screen in at least 800 x 600 resolutions and above!! (Ie - don't make the visitor scroll down and ESPECIALLY not accross!!) :)

These are just a few..

Oh, and no cheezy downloaded animations!!

Cheers.
