I am 27 weeks pregnant. I noticed my right eyelid has been twitching all day. Tonight my right bicept started to twitch. After that I noticed that the muscle underneath my left thigh started to twitch. They didn't hurt and they were both for a short period of time, but my eye has been twitching all day. Did this happen to you? Do you know why?

My entire body started twitching about the same time as you (in terms of pregnancy).

I noticed the twitching would happen on the days I was most tired (well actually exhausted would be a more precise word).

The twitching went beyond your description, it was even around the abdomen and at the time I thought it was my baby moving about but after I gave birth to her, the twitching continued and I realised it was my body.

It's just muscle and nothing to worry about.

I did twitch in the eye a few times while i was pregnant and i had many cramps in my legs and butt. I think it from pulling or straining a muscle the wrong way. Try eating more potassium like Bananas. The cramps stop coming after a while.

You should see a chiropractor. It is very likely that the stress on your body has caused a subluxation and if you get an adjustment it can relieve the pressure on your nerves that causes spasms in your muscles.
It does help I worked for a chiropractor for years and had many pregnant patients. It also can help you have an easier labor and recovery

If this is getting progressively worse especially if you have ever had chickenpox, particularly if you were over 10 years old when you had it, you need to see a doctor. You may have Bell's Palsey
