I went out on my bike at the weekend and left it sanding outside for about an hour when I came back out to start it nothing no turnover no clicking of the battery nothing so I called the AA out and he checked my battery that was fully charged so we bump started it and it worked turned it off an it started straight away he said it might be something to do with the starter motor or relay but Im usless with the technical side of bike riding what do I do about it how do I check what is wrong as Im too scared to go out on it just in case it doesnt start again, as I cant bump it on my own as Im too small.

Hi,
I owned one of these and mine did the same ,it turned out to be the side-stand cut out switch.
Also check the kill switch on the handle bar which also gave me trouble.
If your no good at mechanical things get a recommended shop to look at.

To find out if your starter relay is the problem follow the possitive lead from the battery you should come across a box or cylinder with two bolts on it that the cables connect to, with the ignition on and the engine in neutral put a screwdriver across the 2 terminals and the engine should turn over. WARNING IT WILL SPARK SO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO FUEL LEAKING NEAR IT OR YOU ARE HOLDING THE METAL PART OR THE SCREW DRIVER!!!
if the motor turns over you will know the replace the relay or carry a screwdriver everywhere.

Check the connection between starter button and solenoid there is some times a fuse in this line so check your fuses first. from memory there is a fuse on the side of the solinoid check that too.

get it to a shop. If you really have ne mechanical inclination anything I could tell you on here would only cause you more grief it would be like a doctor telling me how to do a bowel resection
