Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems showed that for any logical system (such as any language) there is at least one question that the system cannot handle. For instance some question about the system itself can be formulated, that will jam the system up so that there is no way it can reach an answer. When these were published in 1931 it put an embarrassed stop to the work of those mathematicians (including Bertrand Russell) who were trying to formulate a complete axiomatic logic that would include all of mathematics.

Of course it is easier to ask a question than to answer one. But not all things that look like questions are valid questions. Wittgenstein gives this example of a non-question:

"Most of the propositions and questions of philosophers arise from our failure to understand the logic of our language. (They belong to the same class as the question whether the good is more or less identical than the beautiful.) And it is not surprising that the deepest problems are in fact not problems at all."

If a piece of nonsense is a non-question, can it truly be asked? Or is it just recited, in an asking tone of voice?

Yes. Even if every person that ever lived asked as many questions they could, there will always be more questions that can be asked because questions can be about other questions.

Or were you talking more about a question no one wants to ask? Cause everyone's got one of those. Even if they're sometimes not aware of it.

Always. So long as one heart yearns another, and its feelings aren't returned, there will always be questions never asked and answers never recieved.

Yes. If you look only to the eyes of the person you're talking to, you can see his/her eyes or you've got the feeling that it is telling something without asking.Try it.
