Where can I find freelance writing jobs? Particularly in Australia?

I am based in Brisbane, have more than a decade's experience as a newspaper journalist, sub-editor and design editor. I'm planning to start freelancing part-time to develop a side income but am unsure just how to go about finding freelance work.

Are there any websites where such assignments are advertised? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions?

My speciality subject is cricket, although I'm very keen to also write fitness, lifestyle and human interest pieces. Actually, anything pretty much.

You can try joining some freelance sites on http://workfromhome-at.com/freelance.html . They have work for writers, too, I think.
