The pigs are the elite, who would keep power away from those without. They don't do any of the work, but recieve all of the profit. What ethinic group controls the most money in the US?

The neocons would be the pigs, owing to their displayed hubris. IMHO, Orwell's other book "1984" more accurately describes the current US situation, with Osama bin Laden playing the part of the character Emmanuel Goldstein. Yours is a provocative question. I agree that the soldiers in Iraq correspond to the faithful, loyal, persistent, tireless Boxer.

Yes, I read "Animal Farm." And the answer to your question is that there is no group in the U.S. who are similar to the pigs in that story. Orwell meant for the pigs to be similar to the Communist Party of Russia.
I'm sorry that you want to turn your face away from the truth of what Orwell intended as many scholars have pointed about Orwell's intention. But your political goal of maligning some group of Americans isn't going to work.

It is simple , isn't it ? Orwell nailed it and I know it hurts some people. The pigs are for sure not liberal ;-)
The problem is , people are greedy, most of them change, when they smell the money and the big business. So I think you can find those "pigs" everywhere.
