i agree with Not Ecky Boy on this. i would also like to add that they have no sense of humour and take everything at face value without considering there may be something like sarcasm involved. never make a humorous but cruel comment about an animal.

It would appear so --- I recently asked a Question for peoples opinions on the Preaching of " Death to the Infidel , Non believer and Gay/Homosexual Peoples which was broadcast on Chanel 4,s Programme "Undercover Mosques" in Dispatches which has led to a number of Arrests and considerable Media Coverage --- This Question was "Deleted" and I received a "Violation" Notice --- to which I replied -- Complaining of a "Suppression of The Truth" Subsequently I received a Reply indicating a "Restoration of Points" and an Apology for any Inconvenience. However I found it Disturbing that a Question Based on Truth and Irrefutable Fact should be Removed --- the reason given was = "Adult Content" which in my opinion was Preposterous causing me to wonder just what was/is the Agenda of the Person/s who caused the Removal of my Question

if some one doesnt like you or your question or your answer well you get violated.anyone can put in an abuse report for no reason and yahoo don't investigate.it's about time yahoo done something about the ppl who put in false or minor abuse reports.abuse reports arn't intended to be used as weapons, and the ppl who use them that way are making a mockery of answers as well as the decent ppl that are here.and if you have trouble with a muslim person on here no matter what they post if you complain to yahoo they will simply send you an email threatening to remove you?the terrorist threats from a few weeks ago must have frightened them.bit unfair for the rest of us,but hey whats fair in this world?lol.no i'm not a bigot i just think everyone should be treated equally.
Edit.what are you'se complaining about ive had over 250 about 1% deserved.

not a chance. 90% of the people who use this are single "twenty something" girls who are incredibly naive.

Violation notices are a fact of liife. I usually get 10 or 15 a day depending how many of the self righteous little madams are stalking me at any given time. Mind you, i do ask for it I suppose.

Apparently one can get a violation notice for having a sense of humour, too. I did when I gave a joking response to a question.

No, petty violation notices go with the territory. Kind of like wiping before you poop - it doesn't make sense.

No, they would rather you ask DESTRUCTIVE questions.

Ones like,
how do I get my bf to be more interested in sex?

Or
My man is in prison and has two children with another woman what should I do.

Or
should I sleep with a married person?

Yeah those are real top quality questions that NEVER get deleted. You would begin to think that Yahoo condones sexual promiscuity on every level imaginable...

I have said some pretty rude and forthright things on this site and particularly against smokers and I haven't heard a thing to shut me up

I have never gotten a violation notice. It also matters how you phrase them.
