my dog discoverd bananas the other day, and let me tell you he his in love!! It was like heaven in his mouth. He has eaten corn and green beans and peas before. Veggies and fruits are completely harmless, in fact it is even good for them because some dog foods don't contain the proper nutrients they can get from fruits and veggies which is why some brands actually add veggies in the dog food.

My brother in law's dog LOVES lettuce. It's probably better for them to eat fresh fruits/veggies intstead of store bought packaged treats...Kinda like humans, LOL.

No way. Its actually good for them to eat veggies and some fruits.
DO NOT feed them raisins though. There was a story by Med Vets on snopes.com about raisin toxicity.

Oh, heck no. Dogs love vegetables and fruit. Now too much would upset their stomach. And it fact, dogs can live on a totally vegetarian diet. They make vegetarian dog food for dogs who are allergic to meat. My sister's Cocker Spaniel, Saudi (who has now passed and who I loved very much) was crazy about bananas. You could just say the word banana, and she would go crazy. And if she smelt one, she would beg and beg until she got some. So no, just not too much but it's fine. And it's very healthy for them, too.

No, not a problem But NEVER feed grapes, raisins, onions or garlic. They can cause kidney failure and anemia.
