hi im a south african married to a greek. and if you are travelling on a sa passport then you will need a visa to visit greece. check with the greek embassy in you country for more details.

The fact that you are married to a British Citizen doesn't get you any favours outside the UK unless you have a British passport. If you have a South African passport, you will need a visa.

HI! You only need a visa if you don't have a British Passport. I think S. Africans need a visa, unfortunately, to travel most places in Europe. It depends on your status, but I think the best thing to do is to look on the Embassy website to Greece, otherwise, contact them directly. Have fun!

unles the south african is partly greek or lived in greece for a while ask the passport office they would know

yes, definitely.
Greece is Schengen country and Britain is not.
So your residence permit in the UK doesn't grant you free entrence to Greece
