log5= -(1/5)
since log5 = -(1/5) the value is = -1 the principles of Logarithm is that anything to the base of log is equal to 1 and since log5 is equivalent to (1/5) it's just simply -1

thus log 5(1/5) is = -1

By laws of logarithms, log(a/b) = log a - log b

Thus log(1/5) = log5(1) - log5 (5) = 0 - 1 = - 1

Let log (1/5) base 5 = x

so 5^x = 1/5
5^x = (5)^-1
