The Bears got to the Super Bowl in spite of Grossout, not because of him. And he choked, and they lost. That's why people think he sucks.

Grossman is definitely NOT underrated. If anything, he's overrated. A QB needs to be a consistent performer in ever game, especially playoff games. Grossman is anything but consistent and everyone saw that. When you have to worry about which Grossman will show up at game time, your offense will never know what to expect.
Grossman has a good arm, he just needs to show more confidence and become more decisive. At times he looks unsure of himself and when a QB loses confidence, he's done.
I know this first hand. Being a Giants fan I see it with Eli Manning all the time and it pi$$es me off. It's easy to see why Bears fans are fed up with Grossman. He may get better, but I don't think he'll ever be great

As a Colts fan, I would say dont give up on him yet! Its his first full year as a starter. His record is better than Mannings for his first full year (granted Grossman had a better team to deal with). But, he may learn from his experiences and become better. If Grossman can learn to prepare himself in a complete and professional manner, he can win a Super Bowl! I truly believe he was overwhelmed in the Super Bowl by Mannings play. He watched Manning pick apart his defense in a methodical manner. Probably, in a way he had never done in his own teams practice. Hopefully he learned something and will keep his head up and move forward. He now knows what it will take to win the PRIZE! Will he pull together and do it? Only time will tell.

Any QB can win games for chicago. He need to worry rather if he can still be starting next season, because if you are chicago, you don't want a guy who is inconsistant all the time. You just need a good QB. Grossman will already have his chances.

The only thing amazing about Rex Grossman is that anybody would consider him an NFL caliber QB.

Ten amazing, not quite. Three or four maybe. Against Detroit, San Fran, and Tampa are the good ones that stand out. He had three games where he threw 0 touchdowns and 3 interceptions and one game where he actually threw 0 touchdowns and 4 interceptions!! I think he has to prove himself worthy of that starting Bears job come training camp, if he gets the chance.

As a bears fan..
Rex Grossman is HORRIBLE, he himself didn't do all that.. his o-line, RB and WRs did it, not to mention his powerhouse defense..
Play Griese or Orton and put Rex out of to dry.. forever

He ends up playing bad in the big games and plays good against teams like the Arizona Cardinals or Raiders. He will get better but I'm not sure he will be Brady or Manning good.
