Yes. You could see from Gollum's past that he used to be a hobbit, with some issues, but still a hobbit. Also, toward the end of the trilogy, you can see the effect the ring is having on Frodo already. Whenever someone tries to take the ring, or it is put in danger, he becomes violent, and somewhat inhuman. Gollum's appearance and physiology was altered drastically because he kept the ring for a very long time, much longer than his own life would've been without the ring. It kept him alive, but warped every aspect of his character to better suit him for the role of keeping the ring hidden and safe.

even gollum was not evil from the beginning. it' s true though that he had a bad character before the ring came to his life. if frodo had kept the ring for himself, he would have ended like gollum.

Had the Ring not been destroyed in the fires of Orodruin, Frodo would not have had a chance to keep the Ring forever. The RingWraiths would have captured him and taken him to Sauron, who would have taken back the Ring, regained all of his former power, destroyed the world of men and enslaved the rest of the world.
Frodo, it is intimated, would be kept alive, forever tortured by seeing the Ring in Sauron's possession, and for presuming to ever keep it from Sauron.

he wouldn't have it forever, Sauron would eventually reclaim it since the ring is just trying to get back to him. It doesn't care how it gets there as long as gets back to it's master.

but in other words, yes Frodo would be corrupted like Gollum was.

Yes because the ring will eventually twist the mind of the wearer and make that person evil.
