i dont know if its true but i was told that when a baby is born they dont see in collor they see in black and white is this true or not

They sort of just see "shades" of it which is why very high contrasting colors, such as black, white & red.

they will begin to see all color ranges at about 3 months.

and they should have full development at around 6 months.

babys see in color when they are born, they cannot focus very well but they do see in color.
