Not yet. After 2 or 3 more years it'll be a better time to judge his overall career, not right after winning his first Super Bowl.

Considering he has changed the way people play defense...YES! Dont believe me? The only teams that beat the Colts are ones that scheme and not give up what defense they are playing against him! You show him what you are doing, and he figures you out and beats you. Dont believe me? Ask the Patriots about their second half performance when they played him straight up. Or ask the Bears, when they said OK, you cant go long, now beat me! He has an amazing way of figuring out your holes and getting receivers to them or audibling into the correct run. Theres not a quarterback in the league that would not want the skills he has. Ask Tom Brady, who has recently started running an offense similiar to the Colts. Ask your retired QBS, who all say he will retire as one of the best to play the game. Ask any receiver who plays the game who they would want to play for? Peyton Manning is there answer! Now, you cant compare him to some QBS from a different time period. The game has evolved or changed too much. But in this day and era he has the skills and a work preparedness that compares to none! PERIOD!

Depends, will he stay in too long for personal glory like Favre seems to be doing? I don't think anyone is a lock until they retire. I think he had about an 80% chance without the ring. Has about a 90-95% chance now.
To the retard above me Brady isn't getting 4-5 more rings. No QB has more then 4 and Brady isn't going to double that. I don't like Manning but give the man his due.

Well that depends after he looses his star support staff. Will he perform then?? Lets face it Peyton is no Favre or Brady he has a great team around him. Put Peyton on a Packer team and he is less than average QB. Favre did it with no staff he made superstars out of nobodies!! You will never see a QB in our lifetime that good and tough!!! Am I glad that he is coming back to take those records? Hell yeah he deserves everyone of them!! Tom Brady another great hall of fame QB this guy is a super smart QB. Peyton and his brother both cry too much when things dont go their way. Now after free agency is done with the Colts if Peyton can still perform lets say without his star receivers/tight end I will say yes he is a good QB but I dont see it. So Manning Hall of fame man NOPE not even

I think his records would have gotten him in the Hall of Fame, ring or not, but yeah if he retired today he would be in.

If he didn't play another game, he'd still be voted in. He will go down as the best QB ever if he stays healthy.
