I was absolutely shocked by it.
It had two GAY cowboys in it with SEX scenes.
Okay, all I did was go to my local video store and ask the clerk what was a good western to watch. He took one look at me and he said based upon the way that I walked and talked and how I carried myself that I would love this movie.
I told him that I wanted to skip the boring parts and get straight to the action, so he told me what chapters on the dvd menu to go straight too.
Needless to say, I was outraged. I took the dvd back to the store as soon as I could. Luckly though, my night is not going to be a total waste. He also recommended another film.
It's called, "I am a man and I am irreversibly gay and like to have sex with many, many, many men."
It's a film about World War II.

Yap, saw the movies many times and also own a DVD too. Good show, thou the sex scene is just a very small fraction of the whole movie. The theme is not so much as gay movie but a movie about LOVE. Basically, most movies above relationships, they dont show the "lifetime" of the relationship, just how it develops and then, very quickly they are "happily ever after all".
This show shows a relationship that lasted over a number of years and how at that time of the century, people reacted to the relationship, how both guys have to hid their love for each other and in the end, when Jack died, how the other lived thru his daily life without this lifetime partner.

The movie didn't work for you, apparently. It did have some good moments (and I'm not referring to the sex scenes) but I didn't think it was the most amazing movie I've ever seen, but I did find it to be a good movie with good cinematography and a good story line.
Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

ok, a. yes i have seen Brokeback Mountain. it was a great film! and 2. what planet have you been living on that you didn't know there would be gay sex in this film? i think you made that whole story up just to hear yourself type! : )

I haven't seen the movie, but I know it isn't about cowboys. Cowboys herd cattle. Sheep herders take care of sheep.

Yes I've seen it. I knew exactly what it was about when I hired it, as I'm sure you did. I thought it was pretty boring though.

Yeh I saw it at movies with hubby, he wasnt too thrilled about it but I thought it was good.

Yes, and it was different, I didn't enjoy it and was shocked by it's review's, saying it was best this and best that. Surely one should have been warned.
