1st the simple checks. Double check your oil level and that the correct oil was put in the car.
If that is good then either your oil pump is on it's last leg and unable to produce enough oil pressure or your low oil pressure sending unit is not reading the pressure correctly.

You need to have the low oil pressure sending unit checked. When they check that they can screw in a pressure gauge to ensure that the oil pump is creating the proper pressure while the engine is at idle.

There are multiple things inside the engine that can cause a loss in pressure like your are talking about. But my best guess would be the sending unit of the oil pump.

You either have a 2.7 or a 3.5.The 3.5 engine is JUNK. It may be the sending unit, but I would guess it's the engine. Take it to a shop. If it's the sending unit, it usually does it all the time. If it is the engine, don't get it fixed. Pull out the bulb on the dash and trade it in for a new car. If it is the 2.7 have it fixed. I will cost about $2-300, but it's still a good car.

...hmmm ya, it's an American car, but all the electronic components are engineered and manufactured in JAPAN and CHINA!!!!

Check the physical oil level with the engine dipstick to make sure the oil change place didn't screw up. If the oil level is ok, then it's either your oil pressure sending unit (sensor) or it's the ECM (cars computer).

some of the chrysler sensors were redesigned for this problem, for supposedly losing "calibration", indicating low oil pressure when it wasnt.

It's a crappy American car. There's probably something wrong with the computer or the electronics.
