go to the library and check out a few books on overcoming shyness...you might meet someone there too.

someone once told me shy people are too inward looking.
That helped me.
Yeh, check out how you stand - your posture
in the mirror. Then do some poses (with your clothes on)
to get your act together.
Then think of questions about them you could ask, & look interested in their response. Keep looking at them.
Sooner or later they'll notice you. Then SMILE.

To increase confidence make a detemination that in any case u hv to do that. and if u face more difficulty to talk to him then make 2 or 3 times practice wht u want to say or ask so that increase yur confidence level. And, go to talk him with full confidence.

You also seem to have problems communicating textually. Work out what you want to say to him in your head first, practice in front of the mirror at home. Then try to get him alone somewhere you feel more relaxed.

Just be yourself and dont mind everyone telling u not to be shy your a shy person let one of your friends tell him you like him. If he doesnt say anything to you then hes not worth it

Go get your hair done or something to make you feel better about your self then get a friend to go with you to talk to him so you are not so uncomfortable and just do it. You only live once heck he my want to talk to you also.
