There are over 159,000 questions open, and over 1,000,000 questions up for vote. I did a little test, i scrolled through the questions to see how many i could get to in 10 min, i got to 6000 of 1 million, and those were only 4 days old.

If Yhaoo Answers made it easy to get to the old questions, would you vote on them?

I heard there are some over a year old, but i did not want to spend my whole day trying to find them.

If questions are that old, why can't Yahoo Anwers Team just delete them, it is obvious that no one even cares about the questions anyways.

Do you think Yahoo should delete questions over a 2 weeks old and make it easier for us to get to the rest so we can vote on them

i just found out that you can search them in reverse order, but the fact still remains, how would you navigate 1 million questions?

Older Q's are good for Reference and Research -- any time you have a Q,
the previous similar ones will pop up when yours is typed in BEFORE you submit. I might click that and not ask mine. Also, I like to keep my History for review as I find it a convenient file.
Individual histories indicate personal tendencies and areas of expertise
and form a "background profile" for "whodunit investigators" looking for court info against, say, a terrorist.

I just got a best answer that had been put to vote that was several months old, so what you say is very true. I wish we were able to delete stuff on our Y!A Q&A page as well. You do bring up a very good point. Just think of all the superflous stuff floating around cyberspace.

I received a best answer on a 3 week old question just now, so no I do not agree. (I don't know why someone voted on it) Why do those open questions bother you so much? They do not effect my life in any way.

They should put the oldest ones in front so they can be voted on -- or have their team resolve them --

No, how else would we be able to glean all of the wisdom and sage advice doled out by the countless morons on here...
