It is a turn based RPG (but everyone knows that) It stars a boy named tidus who wants to get back to his world so he becomes friends with a few people after being attacked by a monster named sin. This game is really cool. It has some difficult parts and the lvl up is kinda hard to understand. But all together i'd give this gaame a 9/10. Legend of zelda is the only game I have given 10/10.

I don't know how much you want to know, but if your main concern is whether or not its worth the money, then yes it is. There are many elements in the game that make it a lot of fun, and not too difficult to beat. If you are like me and want to go beyond the parameters of the storyline and challenge super-hard enemies, that element is there for you too. I would highly recommend buying the strategy guide as well, it is particularly helpful for finding items and the oh so difficult ultimate weapons. If you are any kind of fan of the FF series, you will enjoy this game.

It's rated one of the top final fantasy games. I loved it. Then they made a branch off final fantasy x-2. You can get free guides off of gameFAQ
