It's called profit. PPV does charge the WWE to use their service, and in order to make a profit, they have to charge some outrageous amout. It's not like WWE is actually making 40.00 a pop. PPV has to make their money somehow.

I believe its because the Wrestling companies charge the PPV companys to broadcast the matches and based off the charges the PPV people turn and create the prices for the program. Also most PPV companies charge per TV.

wrestling cost so much on ppv because, it is a big money making scheme! the WWE works its audience into a storyline and then try to conclude it a a PPV, but as of late no PPV has had closure, if you want to save money, just go to Wrestlingexposed.com and get up to the minute info on who won or just wait until monday night raw comes on and get the stats of who won! Wrestlemania is about the only PPV i buy!
