When Bush first took office the first time he wanted to start drilling in the US to make us less dependent on foreign oil. It is the liberal enviro-wacko's who keep us from getting our own sources developed. Bush is the one encouraging bio-fuels etc. Why do people still keep asking this question? It's just a liberal media spin.

The problem is we can only "speculate" because Bush won't give the real answers to your question. None of them have the guts to admit the real reasons for being in Iraq. One only assumes. Why doesn't he just say it. He's the president of this United States, isnt he?
