Why is it that ifyou skip a lot of nonrated music to get to the stuff you really like, at some point you get nothing but norated selection, even though there are hundreds of rated songs that the program hasn't yet played? Is there any way to fix this. I've already selected the "play more rated music than non-rated music option." And asking Yahoo is like banging your head into the wall. It only feels good when you stop. So thanks in advance of bothering to read this and, hopefully, for a solution to my dilemma.

It appears that you have a few selection of rated songs, either you're a launchcast newbie or you don't rate songs much often. well, all you have to do is to be patient (just from the start, at least) on the songs that are playing, just don't skip the songs WITHOUT rating them first. that way, you get to pick the songs that you really want to play.

for the meantime, i have a few recommendations for you:

- you can play other stations by genre, genres that you like to listen of course, and NOT your own station. this way you get to listen to the songs of your mood, just rate the songs that you hear. it will automatically reflect on your own station.

- edit the genre on your station profile. i mean, REALLY edit it. like give a very high rating on the genre that you would most likely want to hear most often, and low rating on the others.

- browse your fave artists' albums. inside each album are the singles which you would have to rate. again, give the highest ratings to the songs you love.

- if you browse the artists' profiles, you will also find SIMILAR artists. it will be easier in your part to find the artists you like, their albums, and their singles!

Good luck!
