How do you make a heart by typing???

or other symbols at that..i see hearts next to peoples names and symbols but i don't know how they do that???? can u help me?

number lock on, hold down on the alt key and type a number on the number pad, as soon as you type the number let go of the alt key. holding down the alt key and typing the number 3 on the number pad will give you a heart ♥ here are the numbers 1 through 20- alt key held and typed on number pad- ☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○◙♂♀♪♫☼►◄↕‼¶
