Excellent question. It seems that by all rights we should be, but then we had already lived, so maybe we remember? No, memory is of this physical world, so we wouldn't be able to remember. So would we be able to be curious? I think, depending on one's faith, we could.

I really don't know, but it's fun to think about.

I think when we die we become a type of spirit (and know we are in a better place then the living) , so we can watch over and help if needed.
