Zenith is an Indian brand which gets the components from other countries, assembles them in India and tests them before delivering them to you. Its an indian branded laptop/PC company.
Same with lenovo, but its not Indian, they too do not manufacture all the components but get them from other countries..
Only reason why they might be costly than zenith is that
1.They may have to pay high taxes for importing laptop in india(remember Zenith only imports components and assembles them here in india)
2. They want to use brand value and hence put a price tag for all those who like to go for branded onez..

Zenith, an Indian company sourcing components from various countries so their price is less, Lenovo a MNC having presence in many countries, their Overhead cost will be higher than zenith.
One line message: Its the difference like having the same food in a 3 Star hotel and a 5 Star hotel.

Maybe u don't know that most of the computer companies import their components from Chinese OEM companies which manufacture the main components brand names like ( HP Compaq, DELL, Asus, Toshiba etc...) ...
some companies control their OEM Partners' production lines periodicaly ((every 3 months they calibrate production lines equipments)).
Trade-name is the main price factor adding to after sale service ...
I prefer to build my own PC as i can take the best components from their main sources like Intel ,AMD, Kingston, Western digital...
more details by mail!

Lenova is IBM itself. They provide original IBM acessories or use IBM manufacturing parts for their computer. Also provide Genuine Windows O.S with their computer. So price tag is higher compared to Zenith.
Zenith is assembling from indian associates. So rates are low.

Indigenous product. Besides this the size of the enterprise, the make and market distance all dictate the price differences.

Brand name. Brand names command prices. So the better known brand costs more. As simple as that.
