that! Maybe he should start drinking again that might cure him?
Don't you think most reformed Alcoholics are depressed? They have to take anti-depressants? And they take antibuse as well if they are too bad off? So could we ever feel safe with an alcoholic? Because isn't true that once an alchy always an alchy? Even if you don't drink? Please think about this reasonably? How can we trust a person that plunges us into war, and has brought us nothing but grief? Have you felt good in the last 6 years? When does he make us feel safe? Does he do his job to look at the bright side? Or is he constantly talking about Armegeden? And terrorism? Gloom and Doom? What good is this bringer of bad tidings and ugly remedies as well? If we had a cut on our elbow, instead of stitching it he would rather cut it off?

What is absurd is that you are denying this possibility because you are biased, and then you are the first ones to come crying when you finally wake up, and then you will deny that you voted for the bastard too. Fess up folks you are in denial and you must need that 12 step program for jerks, and then first thing to do in to stop lying and denying and then get the cure, okay and may God Bless. Wake up and crawl out from under the rock you are under too!

Alcoholism causes bad decisions and this prompted the government to warn people that drinking is dangerous to the health. Thus, an alcoholic President is dangerous to the country.

You are implying that all of our nation's problems are the President's fault. While I agree that he bears a great deal of the blame, he is by no means alone. Lets face it. The village idiots are running the White House, the Senate, the House and most state and local governments. And by that, I mean both Replublicans and Democrats. Unless we kick them all out and start from scratch, we are pretty much done for. If that sounds like Gloom and Doom to you, oh well. I call it reality. Snap out of your stupor!

Bush has an enormous ego but he is definitely not a manic depressive. (the new term for this illness is bipolar disorder) Bush unfortunately isn't a very bright man and he has surrounded himself with people who cater to him with poor information. Of these so-called consultants, Cheney is the worst. I don't trust that man no matter what he may say.

No.
1) Bush is not an alcoholic. He stopped drinking with out checking into a rehab facility. He used to drink too much.
2) His behavior seems completely normal. Unless you are a board certified psychiatrist who has personally examined the president, your charges are nothing but viscious slurs.

I haven't seen enough mania or depression to support that theory. If I had to tag him with a psychological disorder (and I'm not saying I know this, or that most of us don't have one or another) I would go with narcissism. I think he honestly believes he's right. But maybe I'd just rather he be severely misguided and stubborn than to think he had a hidden agenda in so much of this.

If you quit drinking you should never start again. Starting again would really tick off your liver. As for President Bush, God only knows what he must be going through.

Alcoholism blended with a narcissistic sense of self along with a narrow world vision is a recipe for disaster; as the last 6 years has proven.

Naive, yes; depressive, no. It's not an easy job and I can't think of one person that truly would know how to do it well and still come out looking young and fresh!
He had his fun and managed to fool a lot of the people some of the time, so let him be judged by his legacy.
To the future!

Drinking in college doesn't make one an alcoholic. Did you forget about Clinton's weed habit? (that was one of his OTHER habits) At least Bush admitted that he had partied in his college days. If he had been like Clinton he would have said "I opened the beer cans and poured it in my mouth, but I Didn't swallow it!!"
