Pass a Federal Law that imposes life without parole at the first offense. Then keep the offender there for life....

Plain and simple, impose extremely harsh sentences on offenders, and imprison them.

Also, they need to regulate the internet, because that is where a majority of these predators look for victims.

Outlaw pornography. ( Which probably will never happen, because they hide behind the 1st Amendment. )

Allow profiling.

These are just some measures that can be taken.

As long as the USA is more concerned about the rights of the criminal and not of the victim, there is not much we can do.

Remember the serial rapist/murderer in California on death row? He managed to get an indefinite stay of execution because he "might" had a little pain from the lethal injection.

He raped, tortured and killed those young girls and women and the bleeding heart liberals worry that he "might" have a little pain from a lethal injection.

Train parents more closely in what to watch out for in the people they allow around their children--something like 95% of child molestors are close friends of the family, or family members, and our focus keeps going back to "stranger danger." Also? Give people free copies of "Protecting the Gift" by Gavin de Becker. Brilliant work.

The Federal gov. can make all the laws they want to, but they have no way to enforce them. It isn't up to them --- it's up to state and local gov. We need to start voting out these judges and officers of the states that aren't doing their job on that and many other things as well. They are more concerned with money than anything else. Time to vote for people that have their priorities in order.

Lock them up & never let them out. Seriously.

These guys are forced by court order to mandatorily take 'castrating' drugs to get rid of their sexual potency, meanwhile after they're declared 'rehabilitated' they go out on the streets and buy black market testosterone pills to get their potency up again & back where they started.

They continue this degeneration by moving closer to playgrounds & schools, and get jobs involving children, I mean it's all a calculated move! There is NO fixing them!

I think they should offer a grant to study any genetic abnormalities in these offenders and FIX these people!

The law is too lenient at the State level too. They keep setting these perverts free.

This is not an area in which the Federal government has jurisdiction -- it's an issue for the states.

I wish I knew the answer to this question. I would like to see harsher penalties for those that do crimes such as this.
