Before he has this procedure done he should know that there is a very real risk of loss of sensitivity as this study shows.

Exerpts from the report:
Masood S, Patel HR, Himpson RC, Palmer JH, Mufti GR, Sheriff MK.
OBJECTIVES: Currently no consensus exists about the role of the foreskin or the effect circumcision has on penile sensitivity and overall sexual satisfaction. Our study assesses the effect of circumcision on sexually active men and the relative impact this may have on informed consent prior to surgery.
Penile sensation improved after circumcision in 38% (p = 0.01) but got worse in 18%, with the remainder having no change. Overall satisfaction was 61%.
CONCLUSIONS: Penile sensitivity had variable outcomes after circumcision. The poor outcome of circumcision considered by overall satisfaction rates suggests that when we circumcise men, these outcome data should be discussed during the informed consent process. 2005 S. Karger AG, Basel
I would recomend getting a second opinion before having this done, it is very rare to actually need to have the foreskin amputated. Competent doctors can treat an intact penis without cutting. One out of five men circumcised suffers loss of sensitivity and one out of three is not satisfied with the results, these are not very good odds. There has to be better treatments available.
I would point out that while this study shows that adult men should be warned of the possibility of sensitivity loss before they can give "informed consent" to circumcision, there is no way that a newborn boy can give his informed consent to an elective procedure that has a 1 in 5 chance of leaving him with an impaired sex-life.
His body. His choice.

there are vein women that will tell you circumcised is better; but it's pretty much just a cosmetic change. tho, there are women that have said that an uncircumcised man is better since they don't have to thrust so hard to finish. it can actually be dangerous to be circumcised after a certain age due to a higher chance of infection.
If he does go through with it, be sure to inform him they do not knock you out for circumcision and it will be EXTREMELY painful. I have seen newborn children being circumcised and let me tell you it is the most horrible thing I've ever witnessed.

There is no difference between a circumcised man and a non circumcised man in regards to sex and if it feel different. Circumcision is just cutting off the foreskin of a man's penis. It's highly practiced in many religions and cultures. It is also hygienic to get circumcised (there is no risk of getting any dirt stuck in the foreskin). It's not such a big deal to get circumcised... it's normally done at birth for Jewish men and in some cultures it's done as a symbol of "coming of age." I say why not...

He's going to be ok, and you are going to get a better sexual pleasuring from him once he get circumcised.
What you need to know is that the skin that covers the Penis head makes it easier for your boyfriend to have an orgasm. This can be inconvenient for most female because many times the female would want her man to stay longer... So, being circumcised will benefit both you and your boyfriend... The skin that covers the Penis head will no longer be there...

i did my serous don,t do it , he will lose his sex drive, he will be in pain and helpless for 30 days.in 10 years it will never be posible to have kids ant less in less the 5 he will have a 50% chance to have a kid. even if he dosen,t what kids it will kill his sex drive, it will cost $500.00 for him if he what to be reconected. and he will have to pay for it. the fist time he gets it it will be for free. neix time he has to pay. it,s the dunbest thing i did in my like and i did it at age 33 that almost 5 years a go and i reget it. not because i what kids because i don,t but because i have very little or no sex drive any more so don,t do it use protection in stead. i i know have much lack of sex i get i would had never had done it so tell him don,t do it and tell him a man told you that he which is me regrets it big time.and my advice to any man young or old never get one.
