hello, im in the rough draft stages if you will of building a gaming pc. all the termonology is giving me a headache and i want to make sure each piece is compatible w/ the other. could somone give me a brief outline on all the components involved? could i do it w/ 800 bucks? anyone had any luck buying pc parts on ebay?

800 is a tad low but of course it all depends on what kind of games you want to play and how great you want your graphics to look. It all starts with a case. The motherboard and processor is very important as well this dictates the speed of which everything will work.

Get at lease a 512mb Video Card

Have at least 1gb at most 2gb of memory

Have at least 300gb of HDD
