Somebody that can get rid of Al Davis!

The Raiders have too many problems, so there is nobody that they can pick at the #1 spot that is going to help them instantly, and there is no one in this draft class that is head and shoulders above any of the other potential picks.
The Raiders need to trade down and get some more picks. They could easily deal down to get a mid first round pick and take a quality offensive player. One of the things about being so bad is that it makes it easy to identify were your weknesses are. They obviously need help every where on the offense, so any quality offensive pick would be a good one. They could look at taking Dwayne Jarrett in the middle of the first (A USC guy that Kiffin coached and liked in college) some people think that A. Peterson is going to fall to the middle of the first round, and there are plently of QB's that are going to drop like Leinart did last year. Plus there are 2 or 3 good offensive linemen that the Raiders could consider. The Raiders, by trading down, would maximize their chances of success in getting something that will help the team.
And by trading down they pay less money to the guy they draft, and they can look at dealing the first pick for a first round pick this year and maybe a first round pick in next year's draft and definitely get another late round pick.
The best value of the first pick this year for the Raiders would be to trade the pick and get some more help on offense. They need it.

I am a Oakland Raiders fan and I think that they should strengthen up their offensive passes. They need to have JaMarcus Russell as QB, as I call him "The Beast From LSU", to be chosen as the number 1 draft pick for Oakland. They should keep Randy Moss and all and let him be able to get those nice touchdown passed into his hand. All Randy Moss needs is a nice deep pass that can easily be thrown correctly to him and Russell can easily do that, as he threw that nice 70 yard pass with just a small flick of the wrist. I bet that Randy Moss would fit perfect with the QB as they both can easily relate to each other and throw the ball easily 50-70 yards easily into that end-zone. I think Russel, no doubt......Brady Quinn will just screw us up and make us fall deeper into losing just like Kerry Collins did. Brady Quin may be an okay QB, but he is no match for "The Beast From LSU"...............I wish good luck on this decision and no doubt the Raider will choose Russel and start winning some games.

I'd vote for JaMurcus Russell, they have to get a QB to lead a horrible offense. I saw a good comment on Quinn being a better fit ( An interesting note however is Brady Quinn would be a better fit for new head coach Lane Kiffin and offensive coordinator Greg Knapp who runs the West Coast offense, but remember who runs the show in Oakland. ) - but a lot of scouts are questioning him. Have to pick a QB first and build from there.

JaMarcus Russell...duh.
Their defense was good but they need help on offense. Quinn isn't the answer. Plus he'll be able to stretch the field like the Raiders of old. Moss'll love this guy.

Brady Quinn, they need a QB. Actually they need a lot of help.
They should trade Randy Moss and Joey Porter and their first overall pick to get a few more first and second round picks.
They need good, young talent and they need to dump the guys like Brooks, Porter, Moss and others, who have weighed that team down with their childish antics.

I also think it's time for Al Davis to step down. I don't think he has what it takes to build a team anymore.

Jamarcus Russell is the no brainer there. He'll bring Randy Moss back to being a premire WR. Not to mention, he's built like a TANK!!

brady quinn yo he's had so much taken from him its crazy. the respect people give him only last for like two games. So he deserves this(and so does the raiders). The kid is good........real good.
