I really enjoy Country Music. It calms me down and soothes the soul. Country to me tells a story about life growing up, fantasies, dreams , fun. It is so passionate. I am not really sure what people overseas think of it, but i bet if they listened to it, they would like it alot.

It is really very poetic and refined. It has meaning and deals more with real life than any other type of music. It is BY FAR the best love-song music!
It's called "country" because it is a style of American music that developed away from eastern seaboard urbanized areas, mostly in the South and throughout the Appalachian mountains. It is influenced by all ethnic groups, consequently the frequent use of banjos, which originally were used by African Americans in the South, made from tambourines placed on a neck and strung.
It has become quite popular all over the world, especially in much of Europe.

I hate new country music with a passion. It makes me feel sick. I like the old folk country stuff, though. I am a bit strange.
