The catch would be that they would also have to give up their families and all their relationships that they have now, good and bad. Their reward would be a world without jealousy, hatred and along with that comes a world without money and "things". There would be plenty to eat, plenty to drink and houses to live in, but no "frills". Would you be in favor of a world that lacked no supreme forces fighting against eachother for power and greed?

Even without giving up their families and friends, many would say yes but actually very few would go ahead and of those who did, many would give up.
We have a series on TV at the moment about families emigrating from UK to Australia and, although most say yes, it turns out that several have second thoughts and some come back.
The ideal of a land of plenty doesn't work, I fear, and the good life only comes with hard work - wherever you are.
Jealousy I don't do so I guess I can't comment. Remember - if you don't have a picture or witness then only nasty words in writing and signed count - all else is neither evidence nor of worth

Earn a good karma by being nice to others (not financially) and you will reap the rewards. If that isn't working then its time you got a divorce or a new partner!

Good luck

Yes, I would do it, as long as "giving up" my family doesn't mean that they die or something bad happens to them. Money means little more to me than making sure I have the necessities, and I care nothing for power. My family means the world to me, but if it meant that humanity would have a continuous peace and there would be no more suffering ever again, then yes, I would definitely do it!
