The poem means the web which all of us text message day and day keeps us from talking to people in real life to REALLY interact. We believe we are the great, the mighty while we are making many species extinct.
This person is trying to say that many senseless killings distrub him. animals killed to make clothes, killed out of joy for hunting, profits,etc. Keep your mind open people
