this is a dumb question but i wanted to know what other ppl that use myspace think.....
are the music profiles really made by the artist or does somone just do that for them?
what do you think?
cause they never reply to comments made and etc.

Another form of advertising. Maybe a few artists starting out actually look at them, but like you mentioned the more mainstream artists do not even bother responding to requests on a social networking site. I suspect it is operated by their promotion companies or agents.

some are really made by artists some by other people its really hit or miss usually you have a better shot with local musicians, and others are so overwhelmed with comments and messages they either dont reply or miss some.

my space is a joke...i emailed several celebrities and i get this hokey email saying that they are the person that is marketing the person....and so rude too...emailed me back like 3 weeks later.
