I saw this on t.v. a while back and I loved the idea, I instantly stole a couple of my guy's tees and made tees of my own out of them! Its so simple, requires little effort to make, and works on each and every t-shirt you can imagine!

Hope this works for you or helps at least, all the suggestions in here work for other ways to alter a guys t-shirt!

Cut the bottom of the shirt in a sort of rounded shape (as opposed to leaving it in its straight-line, boxy shape) Cut off the sleeves. Cut open the neckline and make it a little bit larger (either rounded or v-neck). Then, take the shoulder part of the sleeves (in between where the sleeves used to be and the neckline) and gather that fabric together and clip it with some sort of decorative clasp, band, ribbon, something.

In the end you'll have a cute tank top type shirt.

If you want to be even more daring, cut down the seams on the side of the shirt. Remove about an inch or so (whatever you want) of the actual fabric, and then re-affix the sides of the shirt together using ribbon (like a shoelace) or safety pins, or something else creative.

Then again, here's a simple way to do it: if the shirt is big on you, just do the cute little knot-ties on each side, or one side, of the shirt. That'll make it tighter and more girlie.

Good luck!

you can also put a wide belt around your waist and wear a leggings or any tight fitting pants. Cutting off the bottom part of the shirt (like a midriff) then wear something really tight(eg. fitted tube shirt )inside your t-shirt. Just make sure the shirt inside is not the same color as your t-shirt
