Nothing I grew up on well water if anything it gave me more energy I'm 51 now and healthy as a horse but to drink it today i would have it analyzed to see if there is any contaminants in it there is so much pollution in the world today you never know whats underground .

drinking limewater will result in caustic chemical burns in the mouth and throat. lime water I believe is calcium hydroxide. not good.

Lime water is the common name for saturated calcium hydroxide solution.

In chemistry, lime water can be used to test the presence of carbon dioxide because lime water reacts with carbon dioxide to produce a precipitate of calcium carbonate.

When my dog tiger licked some lime under an apple tree, I was in grade one, lets see, he fell over, his eyes dialated, his tounge was hanging out of his mouth, panting, oh yes, that's right, the vet stated he had approximately two minutes to live, she saved his life, but he died a cold death several years later in a Northren Ontario winter, I don't think it was the lime.
