When I turn the key, the car makes a loud clicking noise and all electrical systems (LIGHTS )start to flicker. But it won't even make that cranking noise it does always before it fully turns over. I have had the same problem with this car before but after about 10mins it just starts up perfectly normal but not this time. I never left any lights on!!!!!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP???

theses other people answering this question are car illiterate....
i know what exactly what the problem is but i almost don't want to even post it because of how disgusted those idiots answera make me.
but.
it is called an altenator.
they go bad, progressivley, until they just wont start the car any more, if its clicking its not the starter, if its not clicking it could be the starter but u said it has done that before and then finally started, so it's your altinator, definetly.... they arent very expensive,a nd u can replace it yourself,, for a total cost of under $60, but if u have it towed and a mechanic fix it for u, ur lookin at $300-$500.... u can take your altenator off with a wrench, take it to an autozone or o'rielys or advanced auto parts store and they will test it for u for FREE, to confirm that it is all u need to do to get back on the road.

OK this is what is really going on. The clicking noise you are hearing is the starter solenoid/relay. It engages your starter( the cranking noise). It could be bad but you probably just don't have enough juice. As suggested check the battery connections for obvious corrosion that could be cleaned. Have your battery and charging system check (alternator). My guess is your battery gave up but it could be a bad solenoid/relay, starter or missing belt. Try and jump start the car, if the battery connections are tight and don't look corroded and it still won't start than that would indicate solenoid/relay/starter problem. If it fires up than chances are it is battery or alternator.

POP THE HOOD ON YOUR CAR AND LOOK AT THE BATTERY LOOK AT THE RED CABLE IF YOU SEE A BUNCH OF GREENISH LIKE CRAP IT IS CORRODED YOU NEED TO TAKE THE CABLE OFF AND CLEAN IT WITH A WIRE BRUSH. YOUR LOCAL PARTS STORE CAN HELP YOU. ALL THAT IS HAPPENING IS YOUR BATTERY IS NOT GETTING A QUALITY CONNECTION THAT CAN HANDLE THE DEMAND OF STARTING YOUR CAR BUT CAN POWER ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL SYTEMS. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU COME UP WITH.
