You have to cut down on your calorie intake, and burn more calories through excercise. Fat is just energy storage, and thus you have to burn energy to get rid of eat. And not eating any fat won't do anything- your body will make fat by itself if you have too many excess calories.

Fat in the diet = fat on the body. By reducing fat intake to a minimum, body fat will burn away.

Look at it like this; here in UK we produce something like 600 million tonnes of animal fats per year for human consumption. Most of this 'fat' ends up In food products, biscuits/cookies, ready meals, etc and comes under the heading of 'hidden fat'.

How to avoid the above 'fat'? Eat everything from fresh which you prepare yourself. Lots of fruit and vegetables, lean meats, fish, eggs etc.

The basic rule of thumb for protein in the diet is: -
meat 3 times per week
fish 3 times per week
eggs 3 times per week
cheese 3 times per week

Body fat is best lost slowly in time. Crash diets are a bad idea. The above will help you change to a less fatty diet without losing interest in your food.

GO FAT GO.

Use skim milk, low fat yoghurt (but also low in sugar), cut off visible fat on meat, and cut down on sugar as if you have too many calories it will turn into fat. There are a lot of low fat foods out there but they make them taste good by loading with sugar, therefore you would still get fat. Check labels for low fat and low calorie.

Main cause of your body fat are -
1. Including more and more light density lipids in your food (or animal origin fat)
2. you do not do proper exercise or physical activity to burn that fat, thats why it get deposited in our body, we become fatty and our skin become oily.
We can reduce it by following effective means -
1. do not take lighty density lipids in your food at least for three months.
2. do heavy aerobics daily at least for 30 min. upto 3 months.
3. take 3-4 ltrs water daily, do not drink water after eating food.
4. do not over eat at a time.
5. you can use FINASTERIDE (commercial name FINPECIA) 1 mg daily for three months.
it will definatly solve your problam if followed strictly.

the best method I have found, is to try to find a way to break a sweat every day. Once or twice or even three times per week won't cut it if you really want to do it right.

It doesn't have to be for 1 hour per day. But do try to at least break a sweat for, say 15 minutes per day. This will help immensely. And obviously, eat/drink smart.
