He has Discovered it is BORING and wants mummy to spark his diet up.....try adding fresh fruit, something more for him to experience with, taste wise.
% months, he could be also now old enough to try some veges, anything new to keep him interested in food.
You wouldnt eat the same thing every single day would you? so why do this to your child?
My 3 yr old baby, eats almost anything, when he went onto i changed his deit around alot, he now enjoys everything *except mushrooms* and will give anything a go.
Broaden your sons horizons.

First, talk to your doctor as it seems that your son has a special diet to begin with as most children do not start rice cereal at 3 months.
Ask your doctor about oatmeal (for infants). It's still easy to diagest and a step up from rice cereal.
Keep it simple- mash a banana, or some peas...even a baked apple (add a little water in it while baking and mash it up after it's soft) and add it to the rice cereal or oatmeal.
Easth's Best had a great line of organic baby food. Good luck!

I mixed my son's rice cereal with applesauce and warmed it just a little in the microwave since the applesauce was cold. He liked that for a while, but once he hit 5 months I started buying a few cans of organic baby food like sweet potatos and carrots and whatnot. I mostly used a baby food grinder at home..and ground up anything we ate. If it was dry after grinding, like a roast or something, I made sure I mixed it with carrots and potatos to make it soupier. Good luck!

He is probably just tired of eating the same thing over and over as would you if you ate the same thing every day. Try different types of baby food there is a wide range of different foods out there. mushing up bananas topped with yoghart is another alternative. but don't be afraid of variety. He will be gobbling up every bit again in no time

you should talk to the doc but its probably time to start baby food my son was on rice cereal at 3 months also and at 4 months we started the baby food (the doc said to) call them they will tell you what to start and how much to give but he still has to have the cereal so when you start it dip it in the fruit or whatever then the cereal 2 bowls also when you give the cereal make it with breast milk or formula not water they like it better that way good luck.

I used to just mix it with fruit only. just a little to flavor it. One other thing i used to do was add a baby, baby, pinch of brown sugar to the cereal. I only did that for a week or two because my son just wouldn't eat the cereal. I started feeding him things like grits thinned out with milk. Or cream of wheat is pretty good which you can add a little brown sugar and cinnamon. Not much after that he started eating scrambled eggs with cheese. I don't blame them I wouldn't eat that cereal either.

try adding fruit to it, or give him oatmeal. my son hated rice cereal probably because it was so plain.
I always mixed half a jar of baby food with half bowl of rice cereal. Just do the same thing you would normally do when adding the formula.

Rice cereal has very little taste. Maybe you could add a little mashed fruit to it, like some banana or peach.

he has grown bored of it, try something new with oatmeal or bananas. Baby food should already be in his diet, try sopus and crackers, cheese and other foods like that, if the doctor reccomended that at 3 months then im sure he would say to start table food knowing your baby would grow tired of it quickly.

There are many other alternatives other than rice ceral. Including things like, pureed pumpkin and polenta and legumes and other vegetables, babies get bored of what their eating really quickly so variety is the best spice with babies.
