Sensible and reasonable are not in our (or most) government's dictionaries.
If people were sensible and reasonable, there would be NO wars

In my opinion, no, there is no sensible way to look at it. Not with the way it is being handled. With how many thousands of people getting killed every year. Not only our people, but the people that live over there. As far as exiting? Well, that too is a real sticky situation. I feel that it will be a dammed if you do, dam ed if you don't situation. If we leave, it won't be good. If we stay, still, it won't be good. I could go on all night with this. So, I'll end it here by saying it's all f***ed up.

How about the fact that the 20,000 troop surge is already under way and there have been some big successes already. But the press wont tell you about it. You only hear about Anna Nicole Smith and a downed helicopter.

1. Over 1,100 rounds of high explosive mortar shells were found. An informant led US troops to a major Al Qaeda stash. This stash was used to create road side bombs. Possibly the lives of hundreds of US troops have just been saved.

2. Al Zarqawi's replacement in Iraq has been captured or killed.

3. Over 13 Al Qaeda Terrorists in a cell responsible for roadside bombs have been captured including the leader of that cell.

This is all happened less than 48 hours ago.

It's only sensible to leave if the oppressed want us to.

Why should we be the only ones who get to live democratically?

We should be there for as long as it takes and a lot of the soldiers that are doing the fighting (you know the ones dying) would agree.

War was waged to remove an abusive head of state who supports terrorism. Since the mission was already accomplished, leave the country and let the people establish self-government for their new society.
