Of course the death of Owen Hart would have to be the worst accident in the wrestling world.
But the second worst accident occurred on October 5 , 1999 when Droz was injured in his match with D'Lo Brown and as a result is a quadriplegic.

to answer your question, i think the most dangerous injury was when Chris Benoit did a German Suplex to Sabu during the old ECW days and broke Sabu's neck in the first few minutes of the match but as far as accidents i would have to agree with everyone else and say that when Owen Hart fell to his death!

The one that I can think of is Owen's death. RIP Owen Hart. You will always be remembered in the wrestling entertainment industry as a great wrestler in the shadow of your famous Hall of Famer brother Bret"The Hitman" Hart.

I can think of about 2 non-fatal ones and 2 fatal ones:
Hayabusa botches quebrada/lionsault and breaks his neck; no longer wrestles
D'Lo Brown botches running powerbomb on Darren Drozdoff; quadripeligic paralysis
Owen Hart falls to his death in a faulty "decend to the ring" stunt
Brian Ong dies due to spinal damage (whiplash/previous concussion) after botching a flapjack by Dalip Singh (Great Khali)

i would say the accident when Owen Hart went off the top to go to ring and miss judged or something he missed and fell, he died at the arena with audience there and all. everyone surprised, major accident.

I believe the worst was the death of Owen Hart which was completely sensless, I was watching on live Tv when it happened. I thank god that to my knowledge there was never any video leaked of it.

that was bad....cept for the good camera angle...OPA! *smashes plate*
But in reality I know the worst thing to happen was Owen Harts death, it was extremely preventable.

for an accident it is no question the death of owen hart
for an "in ring" injury sid breaking his leg was preety nasty to watch but the worst in WWE d'lo brown running power bomb on droz breaking his neck leaving him in wheelchair for life
